Sake (pronounced as “sah-keh”) is a traditional alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice. Although sake is sometimes referred to as 'sake wine,' it's fundamentally different than wine. Sake is a category of its own with a unique brewing process and over 10,000 variations. It ferments like wine, and it brews like beer, but in the end, it's just sake.
