A special limited edition Kijoshu. Kijoshu is a sake that contains some unfermented sugars giving it a rich sweet taste. Fresh, delicate and transparent taste of Miyamanishiki rice. Aromas of melon, lychee, muscat and pineapple make for this elegant sake. On the palate, it is medium bodied, delicate umami and is sweet. This complex flavor is sophisticated and fresh.
In collaboration with the British artist, System 7 (with Steve Hillage/Miquette Giraudy), their album "Love for the Phoenix' is included in this 10th year anniversary edition. They performed in the brewery while this very sake was being made!
Brewed at the birthplace of yeast #6, the oldest known yeast, the Aramasa sake is committed to being as ‘natural’ as possible. Using only local rice, ambient yeast and the traditional technique of ‘Yamahai’ brewing.
