In de afgelopen jaren lag onze focus vooral op het leveren van premium sake aan Japanse restaurants. Wij geloven echter dat sake veel meer verdiend dan een bijrol aan de Japanse eettafel. Sake is een van de meest veelzijdige dranken, uitermate geschikt voor food pairings en geweldig voor elke sociale gelegenheid. With our launch of the webshop you can finally enjoy our premium sake's at home!
We are proud to finally make our authentic Jizake (sake brewed by regional small brewers) available to all in the Netherlands (and to many other countries in Europe soon). To spread the beauty of sake we are constantly trying to expand our network of small brewers in Japan, from which we carefully select the sake's to import.
Otemba sake has been providing Japanese quality restaurants with premium sake for the past years. However we believe that sake is a much more than a drink to accompany japanese food. It is one of the most versatile alcoholic beverages there is, making it great for food pairing and any social gathering. Thus we hope that we can convince everyone of this with our top selection of sake's and by providing information and creating events to promote sake.
Sake is becoming more and more popular in western countries and many top-chefs and home cooks are discovering the beauty of this special drink. We hope that you can become part of this movement and spread the beauty of sake to everyone.
